Nice spot to drop in and go to the springs. There is however a really long idle zone right now because of the water level. Giving it 4 stars because the bathrooms need help, and it's hard to exit with all the construction.

that's at hontoon Island.it is real fun u can fish..grill out..hike and they have a playground for kids..
I've never launched from there...nice place though...Try French Rd. In Orange City ?? Past Blue Springs State Park..
I'm pretty sure no overnight parking
Dexter is about 12.5 via St. John's river, Lake George is 22 just to the start, same route.
