Im pretty sure Family Promises allows visits at the dayshelter but I believe the client would need to get staff approval first. They try to protect the confidentiality of all clients and their families.

The only thing they don't allow is visits at the shelter they are staying at overnight (or during the daytime if it's the weekend). You can call, text, even meet up during the week wherever. As long as you don't have any kind of restraining order against you from your friend, they're pretty lenient.

Hello, if you have a friend who is staying at the shelter, she would actually be the one who would need to ask if you can visit etc. As staff, we are not even allowed to confirm that someone is or is not staying at the shelter or using the day center. Also, if you would like to visit at the day center you will be required to complete a background check and drug test.
