Hi Destiny - So sorry for this tardy response. Yes, we i.d. minerals and rocks and fossils every day. You can view our hours here: http://www.mamasminerals.com/About-Us_ep_7.html Our resident geologist is in M - Thur 9-3.
Yes, we have a nice selection of raw moldavite, and finished pieces in jewelry at our ABQ store. I believe we have moldavite jewelry at our Santa Fe store at the entrance to La Fonda Hotel on San Francisco St, and will have loose pieces there this coming week. If you're going to Santa Fe, call them directly for current status - 505-988-1651. As the other reader answered, we do have the Indonesian black tektites as well and in bead form at our ABQ store (need to check with Santa Fe). We've also just rearranged and restocked our sizable meteorite case. There are 2 sizes of beautifully mat framed boxed meteorites perfect for gift giving. Call our ABQ store at 505-266-8443 x4 for on site specifics.
Hi Jeremy - Mama's Minerals has obsidian (black & mahogany), as well as agate/jasper slices. You might check Southwestern Minerals for alibate and flint.

Sandias! The 3 Volcano Sisters. Any mountain area. Corrales. Rio Grande. Tijeras. West side. Keep your eyes open. There is a guy who likes to randomly place crystals for others to be blessed with. Keep your eyes open, and you might find one.
Take it to Mammas Minerals and they can test it for you and tell yoi exactly what you have.

Phyllis, we are unfamiliar with "banded" apache tears. We do have them in the rough form so there are white lines and patterns on them. Can you give us some more information?
They have rough and polished stones, minerals and more...
I cannot help you. Mama Minerals could help, also UNM might help too, contact Rio Grande Jewelry Supply, they may know a person who could help or narrow your search.
We are not in the market for raw jade at this time. Thank you for asking. We do not know where to refer you for the sale.
Can you give us more information?
