Please do not feed bread ever to ducks or any birds. It molts their feathers, damages their wings so that they cannot fly and often die. :/

If you are on fairly good shape you can walk from Montano bridge to the nature center. Its a good long pleasant walk. Best done in the mornings these says due to heat in afternoon

Hello Angie! The day use fee for the Rio Grande Nature Center State Park is $3 per vehicle or $15 per bus. You can also purchase an annual permit. In order to keep the animals and habitat healthy, we do not allow feeding of any animals at the park. Enjoy your visit!
