The DMA is one of best museums in the country for kids. They have overnight lock in events, Friday night family events featuring yoga, games, storytelling, and exploration. DMA does it right for kids.
The child area is small and eh. They would enjoy the ross perot museum better
Great place for kids. Even have an art room where kids can create their own art.
It depends on their attention spans and interests.
My kids were bored by most of the art except for their brief time in the kid specific areas. They preferred areas outside and around the museum. My tween enjoyed the Mexico exhibit which piqued her interest in Frida Kahlo. We went 2 years ago and she still remembers her art work. The ones who were younger were well behaved but would do better at Perot museum or even Klyde Warren Park which is right outside.
There's a 'hands on ' room for kidd.
Yes, they have an area for kids to play. Your child will enjoy it. Also, with the option of seeing the rest of the museum.
Only if they're well behaved.
Lots of neat things for kids to see.
Off course.
