I have not been in the program. I have experienced the Star of Hope and unless the radically changed that will not be an option. The policy is not even a cell phone is allowed. The focus is to help addicts so I'm pretty sure u have absolutely no freedom for outside activity. See a counselor at the Becon or someplace like that. There are places that will give you the freedom you need but I cannot think of them. There is a list somewhere on the internet for services for Houston homeless. With a little effort you can find it. I believe another place is called Search. Beacon is a better option. If you don't know the library has computers and free WiFi access. I will say it's unlikely to get rent free when you work it will be sliding scale minimum rent.
Yes I need to know that too. If I'm working do I get payed. Because there is things that I need to pay myself.

Well you will be able to join the man at work program you will have classes to attend in regards your labtop you could be able to take it with you you wont be able to get a job till you finish the first phase of the program which is for 90 days afterwards you and your case manager can be on hand and hand to get a job
