This is a long over due review, and after reading some of the other responses I am very surprised by some of these men and their perspective of life and what is expected. My story with TLC started back in 1992 when I was 12 years old, they took my father in off the streets and helped him get sober. He had been in and out of facilities since I met my father when he was released from prison when I was 7. I didnt think this was going to be anything different, 29 years later i can say I was wrong and gladfully say i was as wrong about this as i have been about alot of things in life. TLC gave me a friend and more importantly my father. I would never know my dad without them, my kids wouldnt know their grandfather and so on. Its not just about that person but the line of people that are affected and their lives. I could go on all day about what this company had done for me and my family but i wont bore you, is it for everyone no, not every will find sobriety in the same place but its a good place to start that might lead to the place that will give you your father or friend back. Thank you again for everything TLC

This place saved my life, no two ways about it. They took me in and allowed me to rebuild my life. The house staff at Dana was great. I currently work for TLC and James and the rest of the team have been a huge part of my recovery. Things aren't just handed to you, you actually have to work for them - and to me this is how you achieve a long-lasting recovery. I cannot overstate how thankful I am to have found TLC.

TLC helps in so many ways. Them not needing money to take you right in is very important when one is really needing help. They have helped me the last 21 years and am living my life with a new perspective and am able to be useful and helpful to others.

It is not a homeless shelter. If you are not an addict you can't get in.
