Never go to the DMV in Inverness go to the one in Crystal River it's a lot faster and quicker I waited two and a half hours just to check to see if my license was suspended or not the only reason they got a the stars that they got was because the girl that I saw was very professional and courteous

2 proof of address and then I know they require ID... after that as long as you already have the gold star in your license you won't need your birth certificate or social security card but if you don't have that gold star then you will need those IDs...
No and there is a drive thru for registration renewals. Not sure how long you will wait but it is always much longer then we expect.
My son just got his. You need current permit, 2 proofs of residence, birth certificate, SS card. I think it was around $55. I'm not sure tho.

It's technically called the Citrus County Tax Collectors office. If you do a gps search for that it's the same place that you take car of you tags , title , driver license too.
To add to quiches you will also need proof of any marriages that you may have or had so they can prove all the name changes

No you do not need an appointment. Appointments are set up mainly for your convenience.

Hand over the old license, 2 pieces of mail with new address, social security card, car registration, FL insurance card and $400 fees (no car inspection in FL). Call the tax commissioner office for any additional information.

I think the best way is to show him your expired license and just tell him that you need a regular ID. That or just have it renewed there even if you don't plan on actually driving.
