Nancy Carol Roberts passed away in a car accident in November of 1971. Her family made a memorial donation in her honor to the Brenham Public Library shortly after her death the library was renamed in her memory. Nancy loved people, books and searching for information so her family felt that the public library captured her interests and character. Her painted portrait hangs in the lobby of the library and we encourage you to stop by some time and see it.
She died way back when I think. I don't know when but I know she isn't alive any more. Wish I could be more helpful.
