Get appointment with counselor, a very good gentleman, and you will get your visa. If you are us citizen you don't need visa at the councilor office since you will get a 30 day free visitor visa at the airport but for non- US citizen its a must or the airlines will refuse access even if bought a ticket. You must present passport (not expired) and payment of 30 or 40 us dollar to get the Thai visa
