I managed restaurants for several years. Most places will hire 16 - 21 year olds for dishwasher and busser positions. Work hard, be reliable and impress the chef, and you can work your way up to prep cook, line cook or server from there. Liquor laws require anyone serving alcohol to be 21. Some places won't hire under 21 bussers, since that position will back up the servers. It is best to apply in person. Dress nicely, but don't go over the top. For future reference you might consider any time that you are seeking employment to make certain that your grammar, spelling, and punctuation are correct. I recommend that you call the restaurant or go in and check with the manager.
