A daily park pass is all you need. They are about $9 you can use them at any state park. The one I got last week expired at noon the next day!

You need a parks pass that can be purchased at the park itself and it is day use only no camping

I believe that of you have a park pass then they will let you into to go hiking, etc as long as there is parking available
