Awesomely easy pull in spots and just an overall great glamping experience. With full hookups it’s a family tradition for the last 17 years that we go every single year. Making reservations are easy just make sure you make them ASAP. This is a must ho with family! The lack of data is a bit of a turn off, but you can find LTE by the ranger station and the dam. all of the rangers are super nice and 2/4 campground areas are paved as well as most of the roads and makes bringing my electric bike so much More fun. Being 30 minutes away from a Walmart you can get things you forgot or broke with ease. Our family loves to camp and this is the easiest place we have ever been. There is a reason that we keep coming back every year!

Based on the reviews and photos we stayed here while traveling through on our RV. We left after the first night. There is no easy water access, the terrain is rocky and dirty with a lot of stickers. We thought we’d be in a beautiful area where we could use our kayaks. Not so at this park. Sites were pretty small. The Ramada at each site is nice. They CHARGE to take a shower!!! This was one of the more lackluster campgrounds we’ve been to in the US

Beautiful park with a large lake and stunning mountains surrounding all sides. Clean campgrounds and well maintained public areas. There's fire pits and shaded lunch tables for a great picnic outside. Staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Visitor center was air conditioned which was a much needed reprieve after a long hot day.

Camped here in late October, after leaving Rifle Falls. Nice to have a dump station here since the falls campsite did not. Other than the camp host we were the only people camping in the park. The lake was beautiful but crazy low, like 30-50 feet low. Boat ramp was closed. Hot showers (fee required) are available and the bathrooms were super clean. We stayed in the Cedar campground with power hookups only. Cell service for us (Verizon) was zero at the camp site. Note the main office has a Verizon booster that syncs up if you are near the building for a few minutes. Deer came through the camp which was cool. Overall, great campsite just wish the water level was higher.

Yes there is charcoal grills. Take fire wood if needed or charcoal
No.
Not when we were there 2 weeks ago. Many people had small campfires, it's important to just be diligent about it.
The Rifle Falls is about 3-5 mile away from the Rifle Gap. The pass you buy at either park is good at Rifle Gap, Falls, and Harvey until noon of the next day
I volunteer up at the Gap, and yes there are showers. If you do not have quarters there are machines that will deposit you quarters, however the showers are in certain parts of the camping areas
Call them
