Are there any tent sites that are on the lake to keep a boat or do you have to launch each time? Which tent sites are best?

The sites in the campground are not on waters edge but some are close to the lake. There are several paths to the lake with docks spread out around the campground where you can leave your boat in the water. They do have one watercraft site that you get to by boat that overlooks the lake. It's a beautiful park with good fishing too!

There are some docks for boats but no sites on the lake.
