Great campground....we always come back when in Ely. And we love Ely.

I loved how the campsite was designed. I loved how secluded it was and how we could access the lake right from our campsite. There was plenty of room for our 8-10 person camping tent. There was a picnic table and fire pit available. The bathrooms were nice. I would come back here again ! There were camp hosts all over the camp and they were wonderful. We bought wood and one of the hosts brought it to our site in his golf cart. They were so welcoming and easy to talk to. I also loved the gift shop 🎁

I arrived late on the Saturday before memorial day. Spirit of the Wilderness called a camp host to find out if there was any openings. There were. I arrived and was able to look at the wall and see what openings were left(3 of them), I loved knowing there were openings and not having to drive through the campgrounds to find one. Site 30 was available so I chose it. I crossed it off the list per instructions. Granted I am a tent camper and this was an electric site, hence being late. It was a great site! There was a perfect flat tent pad at the back right corner of the site. The fire pit was above the ground so I didn't have to be on my knees to cook food. The bathroom which was next to my site was super clean. Flushable toilets and a shower are very awesome to have after driving eight plus hours and working before leaving on my trip. As I was hooking up my canoe trailer to head into the BWCA, a camp host stopped and talked to me. He asked how my stay was, where I was headed, that he was sad to see me leave and asked if I would come back another time. My answer is absolutely! To end the conversation with him he wished me a safe journey on my solo BWCA trip. The site might cost alittle bit more do to it be an electric site but for the flat tent pad it is worth every penny!

This was our 3rd trip here. This campground is great! We always stay in the lakeside sites. They each have a path to the water. Super clean bathrooms and showers. Very helpful staff. We rented a canoe for $20 for the day. I highly recommend Fall Lake Campground. It is the only one to stay at in the Ely area.
