My wife and I booked a guided canoe trip in the Boundary Waters, staying 4 nights and 5 days. We had a most excellent trip, the gear was great, our guide unerringly led us through half a dozen lakes and several rivers, cooked our meals, and was very friendly and helpful. We fished one of the days, and caught several fish which we fried up for dinner (delicious!). The owners, Joan and Jim, were very helpful in planning the trip (where to start, what to see, how long, etc.), and were very responsive in answering questions before the trip happened. The planned trip was a perfect length, three or four hours of easy paddling each day, easily within our capabilities as novice canoers. I will definitely use their services again when I look to canoe in the Boundary Waters.

Excellent with full outfitting for a 7 day adventure. We had everything that we needed and a few thing that were invaluable that we didnβt know we needed. Food was excellent and managed to keep 4 teenagers and 2 old men satisfied for the full tripπ. Jim and Joan were fantastic to work with on all aspects of planning and prepping for our trip and made the whole experience a memory of a lifetime. Already looking to plan for next year.

Within 24 hours of arriving, my husband became very ill and was admitted to Ely-Bloomenson Community Hospital, where he remained for 5 days. I'm mobility compromised and have difficulty moving about w/o assistance. I cannot even begin to describe how incredibly kind and helpful Joan, Jim and their staff were! The cabin was lovely and hopefully we will be able to return under better circumstances! Thank you again for all of your assistance and concern. Bless you all!β€οΈ

Moose Track Adventures has to be the friendliest place we've ever stayed, the family that runs it was wonderful and we hated to leave Joan and Jim. Their accommodations range from cozy, but beautifully-decorated 2-br cabins (with everything in just the right place), to their newest building, palatial showpiece that 10 people could easily share. They even have a little-used campsite and bathhouse for tenters. All the cottages are right on the water with good parking, dock space and a free canoe for each cottage. The WiFi was a nice bonus (thou some might not want it). We took advantage of the beautiful lake right there on two days, and that was after our 4-day guided canoe trip with one of their great guides. Speaking of their guided trips, they did an excellent job. They provided great recommendations for our trip - a friendly, experienced and skilled guide, plus clean, top-notch, lightweight gear and plenty of excellent food (even providing gluten-free). The guide was also a very good cook and pampered us. The only way we could have had a better time was if the wildlife lined up to have their photos taken!
