It must be above 50 degrees and sunny for her to be out. Looking at the forecast, I doubt she will be out. There are so many other animals that it would still be worth the drive.
Every thing already stated. The 50 degree marker is not a rule (ie she's not kept inside when it's below 50), the hippos just tend to stay in their cave when it's below 50. I was there this past Saturday, when it was 45, and she and her mother were out swimming.
I am not sure you could call the zoo and ask them if you will be able to see her

It depends on Fiona and the weather. There is no specific guarantee that she will be in or out.
