Yes by all means take your cooler. Water is $3.50 a bottle or better. Food is also expensive. Just remember there are a lot of Hill's to walk. So bring a wagon for your grandchildren.

Not sure I don't think coolers are allowed inside, but I'm sure under certain circumstances things are allowed
According to the Cincy Zoo website: Visitors are welcome to bring food and beverages to the Zoo with them. Alcohol is prohibited. So, yes, you may bring a cooler to.the zoo. Enjoy your visit!
