My son was diagnosed with Nephrotic syndrome 5yrs ago. We have tried several treatments and nothing has improved. Does this hospital have a nephrologist that would treat my son? We are from Texas.

Yes, CCHMC has a Nephrology department. The hospital has people from all over come for treatments. They have a great Ronald McDonald house right next to the main hospital campus. The hospital is great with coordinating visits between departments, as well, to maximize efficiency when you're there. I would absolutely check. I walk by their nephrology clinic everyday to see my grandson. Because they are a teaching hospital, they are always up on lastest treatments and they are always researching to find new ways to treat diseases. After my own personal experience, we won't take our grandson anywhere else. I would definitely contact them to see how they could help. Good luck 🙏
