Is there a reason appointments are four months out? Do they not have enough staff?

As above stated there are So many children who come from all over to see specialist here.. It's hard to get everyone is quickly especially if you are a new patient... Sometimes in some specialties doctors will stay late and keep clinic open to add appts...

I tried to get my son into the gastrointestinal department and was told I had to wait months for an appointment. I ended up taking him to the emergency room at children's. They contacted the department directly and we were seen in a couple of weeks. Hang in there. It is worth the wait.

This is the number 2 rated Children's Hospital in the United States. They have plenty of staff. They just see that many patients. Especially if you are trying to see someone in the Kelly O'Leary Center for a child with Autism.

Just taking care of alot of kids. We are frequent flyers here ourselves. Number 2 hospital in the usa. Sucks but worth it.
