They are running a promotion for $0.25 joining fee. The GM of any location also has the ability to waive your first month membership fee. If you are polite, and have a halfway decent reason for requesting it, they shouldn't have an issue doing that for you. It is at their discretion however, so maybe think about your story beforehand, and don't forget to say please lol. But they definitely want to sign you up because their compensation is based off how many new memberships the sign, and how many people keep their existing membership
