No there are first come first serve picnic tables. If however, you want one of the covered pavilions it's first reserved, the smaller ones are fairly cheap. The are reserved via the Saint Paul Parks department. Reserved spots MUST be reserved more than one week in advance.

Parking wasn't our problem. The amount of construction at this time made our visit disappointing. The animals looked very sick.

No reservation required unless your planning an event at the zoo. Parking gets hard to find on weekends, go early!
