When a staffing agency is further away they ask for that info sent. Especially when its contract work that they picked up and need filled. Tekwissen appears to be real. Hell I worked in Iowa and my employer was in Florida. The info was all sent online for the job. I suggest calling them and at least chatting a bit before making judgments. Not every place is a scam. ;)

I am leery of such companies, too, but TekWissen is, indeed, a legitimate firm based in Ann Arbor MI. I am currently working with them on placements. My contact at the company had a substantial presence on LinkedIn, including a photo, and so does the company.
