Fabulous location to recycle hard styrofoam, boxes, old technology and just about anything you can think of. Call if you have a question about what you want to recycle and it’s best $3.00 Donation there is! Amazing recycling drop-off center! ♥️♥️♥️

Easy. Nice employees.

The facility is well run and organized. The staff has always been friendly and professional. It is very expensive however. I have repeatedly paid between $35 and $50 for less than a pickup bed.

I’ve shown up a solid 10-15 minutes before their posted closing time only to find the gate closed already. Super unreliable.

I'm looking for recycle of bread bags ,styrafom especially and carry-out containers? Do you?
Untreated/unstained and unpainted wood can be dropped off at the Compost Center. Wood that has been stained, treated or painted can be deposited at the Drop off Station, but will be considered waste.
Currently (7/28/2022) Hard bound books are NOT accepted for recycling at the Drop off Station.
If you mean a working coffee grinder the Reuse Center on S Industrial will take it. Otherwise it would be handled as trash unless it is made of metal. Most small appliances are mostly plastic which can't be recycled
As E-waste they do, I believe. It will be a little more expensive than recycling other items there like yard waste or general debris, but at least it is dealing with it responsibly
I think you can bring yard trimmings for compost to the Drop-Off Station but not food waste.
I believe they do
I do not believe they shred anything there.
Amazon should take them back! it's horrifying to think of the millions of them going to the landfill.
The cost for mattress/box spring disposal (they are not recycled) is $20/each. So, for both the queen mattress and the queen box spring, it would cost $40. If the mattress and box spring is still usable, you might want to call around the thrift store network and see if anyone is accepting them: https://www.recycleannarbor.org/divisions/reuse-network.
They take light bulbs, only on Tuesdays
Yes they do. During the pandemic some materials are only taken on Monday's so ease check with the RAADOS directly
I am working everyday and can't help but if I had free time I would be happy to help! God bless in your search Big Brother Ron😃
We frequently go here and they do accept large metal items. As long as the item is mostly metal they may take it. It's placed in a roll-off bin that's at the back of the yard.
Yes
They do not take regular trash. There is a list of what they take on the website.
Yes
They do, but typically only if the appliance is no longer working. I would recommend using the Ann Arbor Recycling website to see where they recommend where your recyclable items should go. https://www.recycleannarbor.org/
Yes. Both Recycle Ann Arbor Drop Off Station and the Recovery Yard accept tires for a small fee.
I took mine to Best Buy. It cost me money to get rid of the TV set. $25 I think
No they do not
Yes you pay to drop them
Yes, they do
Yes
Yes
It's three dollars for everything you can fit in a non commercial vehicle. Not sure if they take electronics though.
Yes they can
Yes
Yes, at the Drop-Off Station. Consider a Better World Books box or PTO Thrift Shop for better quality hardcovers. The AADL also accepts hardcovers.
Yes. Open tomorrow
We cannot take aerosol cans with paint. Home toxic drop off on Zeeb can . Empty ones are fine for metal recycling. You can spray paint into oil dry material, and then recycle can.
They are open Tuesday and Thursday till 630 and are open Saturday
Yes. Plastic toilet seats are accepted in the bin for hard plastics.
EMU's Student Center takes old batteries as well, for no cost.
Their website has an extensive list of what they take and how much is charged. If it's just your typical curbside recycling that costs about $3 or they have passes available too. They have different locations that offer different services too.
Theres a cost to drop off anything
If these are working music CDs, the Reuse Center on S. Industrial is probably the better option. If these are to be recycled, the Drop Off Station will take them, but I suggest you call to inquire about the quantity.
