I entered into a business with a company based in Flint. They took $25K from me as a loaner to float us before WE got a business loan from an equipment leasing company. That business loan was never approved. I am out my $25K. What can I do?

U should have a legal team look into that or a legal advisor should've been in place.

You should sue them. Small claims is limited to $5,500 (approximate), but the maximum jurisdictional amount in the 67th district court is $25,000, so you would need to file general civil. You have to sue within the statute of limitations, which is generally 3-5 years (contract vs fraud). Trying to prove fraud has very specific requirements, so make sure you look it up and make sure you check each requirement off the list. You have the right to represent yourself unless you are a company, which would require an attorney represent you. Attorney fees are often recoverable as damages. Please note this is legal information, not legal advice.
