I plan to take my family to this park in July. Do we have to make reservations to get into the park during daytime? Thanks in advance!!!

Yes, please do and also, trail side parking is on the north side of the park and camping ,picnic parking are on the other side. Plan accordingly.

Was just there, reservations were highly recommended. Specially in July.

I would recommend doing so given families are active during summer.

You can reserve camp spots and day passes in advance I believe. It was highly encouraged during the height of the pandemic due to limiting capacity but now I think capacity at state parks has returned to normal.

If visiting during a weekday, this be no problem. A weekend day will be a little tougher, but I have learned that if you arrive early before 10am, you will most likely find a spot on the riverside. I don't believe that state parks allow reservations for daycamping.
