I tried to call Comcast on my land line and a message told me that number is no longer in use..but I got right through with my cell. Does your company block the competion?

No they don't block any particular numbers from companies. They do or will soon have a robo-call blocker but that will simply help with spam calls to your house. Maybe that number for comcast was recently changed and it's trying to 'port'/use the wrong phone number. I would give Buckeye a call to see where the issue lies, they offer 24/7 local phone support.

Yeah i was able to call spectrum, don't make sense for them to block any number

I don't think they would do that. Does not seem like a smart move to me.
