I get my service done at Grayson, I call and make appointment usually within a day or so. Always in and out in no time. Service personnel are always very attentive. I recommend Grayson highly.
I had the airbag recall done on my outback at Greyson. It took about half a day and I got a rental rather than waiting. It was included in the terms of the recall. I highly recommend as other said calling ahead of time and making an appointment. That way you know they have the parts in stock.
Call for an appointment, and just a heads up, my replacement took about 3 hours, so come early and with time to kill.
It would probably be best to call and see if the part is available first and then if they can work you in. If not... maybe they can have it ready for you by the time you get back home.

I really like the service department. But you need to call and ask how soon they can get you in and how long it will take since you're from out of state they may be able to work you in
