Case provides a range of valuation services, from auction estimates to USPAP-compliant written appraisals for tax purposes. In all cases, it's best to start by emailing us photos. If you have a few items you are legitimately interested in potentially consigning to one of our auctions, and can email us good photos, we usually provide complimentary auction estimates - as long as it's something we can accept for auction. Sometimes there are so many items (such as in an estate situation) that a personal appointment at your home or one of our 3 Tennessee offices is in order. For this, there may be a fee based on how many hours we spend with you or how far we have to travel. If you need a formal written appraisal for more complex legal or financial purposes, these are performed at a standard hourly rate. We are always happy to give you an estimate of our fees before any valuation takes place, and often there is no charge at all, so we encourage you to email or call for further information.
I think they charge but I'm not sure if you consign they probably don't charge
