The seats are fine if you could sit every other seat but the idea of bringing your own chair is great. The workers are volunteers and they would certainly accommodate you with that
The seats are restored from the 50's / 60's. Small rows. There are some wheelchair areas. Call the theater and ask if dad can bring a large camping chair due to his size. I bet they would be fine with it. They are very accomodating.
it may be a bit tight.... but they have some seats/chairs on the ends that are armless
A wider-sized person might like to bring in a fold up, low backed chair that fits. Place it In one of our few wheelchair spots at the end of a row.

I'm bigger than your Dad and I'm comfortable. I think some of the seats are different sizes. I always sit about half way down on the left wing. Plenty of leg room too!
The seats are a bit tight. Had a taller friend who was a bit uncomfortable with the seats.
