Norwegian Cruise Lines purchased the ship in early 2000s. The economy turned, NCL lost interest, and they sold her to the conservancy. Crystal Cruise Lines looked at her a few years ago but after an extended study they determined it would cost too much to retrofit and re-engine her as a cruise ship. It seems the most we can hope for is some sort of mixed use / hotel / convention cebter
Good Christian I know it belongs to a rehab community donations can be taken but as far as wise as the Norwegian I have no idea
Such a shame for an iconic ship like her.
