There is paid parking available, but you can also park along the side of the road (beware of no parking signs, you will get a ticket!) for free in certain areas. There is no entry fee.
You can have a picnic down by the water without additional fees. There are pavilions you can rent as well. They are farther away from the water, alongside the parking lot. There is a 15 dollar entrance fee and it's good all day! You can leave and come back as many times as you want, the gates close at 9pm.
