I am Retired and understand that I can live in base housing. I would like to know if there is a waiting list? I am planning on moving to that area in approximately 6 months. Can you please let me know the requirements for living in the housing.

I haven't lived on base in over 5yrs now so I really can't tell you much. I know as a retired member, civilian and military contractors can live on base. Waiting list? Probably. They usually will get Active members in quicker then anyone else. And if I can be honest for a second? I would NOT move on base. You will be paying the same amount in rent(maybe cheaper) if you lived off base. That's just my opinion. And out here we have PLENTY of landlords who cater more to service and prior service members.

There should be a waiting list. It varies based on a active, reserve, retired, and rank status, but you really need to call and tell them when approximately you'd want to arrive.
