Fourth base we have lived in base housing. First one we were charged for moving out. The roads are trash (for our entire 3 years). Houses have mold growing on the outside along with ivy growing inside the siding. Sidewalks have trees growing over them so you cannot walk/run on them. If you are not above the NCO tier I would find off base housing.

Is there another number to call? We do what the prompt says, press 1 for emergency work order & hangs up. When you press the number it doesn’t work and doesn’t do anything. Who can we contact to have the dryer picked up, pliers left behind and have our padding replaced? We had emergency maintenance come out the other night because there was condensation from the A/C unit and our carpet was soaked in the hallway. We are worried that both of our pets will step on the nails. I wish I could attach the picture

I haven't lived on base in over 5yrs now so I really can't tell you much. I know as a retired member, civilian and military contractors can live on base. Waiting list? Probably. They usually will get Active members in quicker then anyone else. And if I can be honest for a second? I would NOT move on base. You will be paying the same amount in rent(maybe cheaper) if you lived off base. That's just my opinion. And out here we have PLENTY of landlords who cater more to service and prior service members.
