Parking lot and no fee. Gravel walk in to plastic boardwalk, then wooden boardwalks. Some of the wooden areas are loose/broken, but easily navigated. Observation decks and benches throughout. Part of the area is closed due to tornado damage, but still a great trail.
There is a parking lot and it is free. It's a wonderful place to hike. Round trip is 2.1 miles, all flat. It is mostly boardwalk.
