Okay place to launch a kayak and float around, but the fishing seems pretty tough. Some trails for hiking that seem pretty well maintained.

No biking trails. It's a good spot for an easy paddle with a kayak or paddleboard tho!
Was on that water there in our jon boat this month and it was shallow 6ft, so shallow that my troller hit mud on the meramec end past the barge's, lots of big fish in that whole but yes that water is filthy like pond water wouldn't say contaminated but not clean
