We'd always seen the sign for this spot near the CVS at the corner there, but couldn't figure out how to get there. Cue Google Maps, which shows the green area, and we eventually figured out that the trailhead is at the far end of the parking lot. This became a bit of a go-to early in the pandemic because it's close by and you can see horses once you get through the woods. Recently we went again but had more trouble finding our way around, not least of all because some paths were blocked or too wet. Then, the horses weren't where we'd seen them before, so we were a bit worried, but we did find them eventually. Very friendly horses!

Thirty minutes down the trail is the perfect spot to watch the night sky because there are no lights around. Wild hearted social horses are a bonus.

Small, but easy and beautiful. It's a treat looking at the horses from a distance. There was nobody there so it's a little local secret.

No, the horse farm is private and they do not offer riding.

I don't know much about what they ask me here. I'm just saying that this place seems very nice to me, that's why I took these photos here and I loved the landscape and a very nice place. It's part of Ambler.
