You are allowed to clean up only your brass. On your side of the firing line. If it goes over the line it becomes theirs (don't want people going over the line) Let the attendant know beforehand you'll be picking it up so he doesn't sweep it up and take it away.

At other ranges I usually policed my own brass ( for disposal ); they were adamant about only policing your own ( if you were taking it with you ). At CSA VB the Range Masters generally do it; my first time I went for the dust pan and broom and he said he'd get it. I'll try to remember to ask next time. It is a clean facility, VERY safety conscious, but still friendly ( more so as they get to know me ). And the range is air conditioned, not just the store.
