Bringing snacks and non-alcoholic beverages is a good idea. If there is beverage service, it is extremely limited.

Yes if it's a short flight there isn't any drinks or snacks. You can bring a bottle with a small amount of water in it and they have a machine where you can refill it after you go through security.
You can pack a few snacks but your drinks you can not when I went through check they took my bottle water out but my sub sandwich I bought went through
