No they don't care about the people they collect for or collect from. They get paid regardless of the quality of work.
You chose the system to police your life and bad choice in father. So, use the system to help with, housing and a jobset . Use it to put a fire under his feet. Get your case into juvenile court and get a stack of contempt filings ready.

No they really dont care. They see money. Yes get a job. Maybe relatives can temporarily help til you get on your feet. Stay free from them. I know.
