Brad or Brian was extremely rude. I call a lot and I've never talked to someone as nasty as him.

Horrid support supervisor talked down the entire time even after multiple times she was asked to be polite about a situation she had absolutely no intention of being helpful, should be ashamed of there work ethic

The lady I spoke to on the phone was highly unprofessional and rude and even hung up on me.

when u cant say anything good about people its best to say nothing. dealing with them is worse than being told by your doctor 'you have 6 months to live'.

Incorrect. The state office processes the payments out of columbus. If you look at their website you'll find that they do have a duty to enforce the court orders. Hence the name "child support ENFORCEMENT agency".
Get a job and dont depond on the system
He has to go to court and the court will have you emancipated and child support stops. You are over 18 years old. He shouldnt be paying anymore unless siblings under 18 are in home
I’ve had this problem. The employer is the one deducting the money from his checks, not child support. From the day your baby’s father receives the check, his employer legally has seven days to send the deducted money to child support. If you know his payday, you can call child support after seven days and they will call the employer to remind them of their legal obligation. You can also check online to see when payments have been received from the employer. I hope this helps.
Call them and ask for a modification
It doesn't work like that.
Your child has until their 23rd birthday to take legal action against the father for child support themselves according to Ohio’s Statute of Limitations.
Per the IRS federal law states that whoever the child lives with for over half the year has the right to claim the child. If the mother has a court order stating she can claim but the custodial parent does not agree she could challenge it with the IRS but it probably wouldnt go anywhere.
Yes he can he has to go to child support.and apply
I have Adult children now and they have children. I am just getting my child support! I applied when they were toddlers or infants? It's been 20+ years ago. I can't believe it's taken this long to get their father in court! They are a joke. They actually told me my case fell through the cracks! By the way.... I had to go to court 20+ years to get my payments of $81 and sometimes $71. I'll be 50! He owes thousands of dollars! I spend the money on my grand kids now.
Yes I am pretty sure you can
If you call them they should be able to tell you over the phone as long as you know your birthday and social security number
Sort of. They will take your paperwork and talk to you about your case. But they schedule reviews in advance. So if you are looking to have your payments changed you have to call them and set it up.
