Bear Mountain State park is self is pretty huge. Bear Mountain recreation area is the central point for paddle boats in Hessian lake, pool, hessian lake parking area with public washrooms, picnic area, fields and ice rink etc.. just beside the Bear Mountain Inn at 3020 Seven Lakes drive. Perkings memorial tower , stony point NY 10980 area is the mountain peak with a great view of the hudson valley. Apart from that there are many sites like Fort Montgomery state historic site , tomkins lake area and different pointsnear hudsone river.
