Went on a Sunday. The park was crowded. Spent about an hour trying to get into the park as the parking lots were blocked from entry. Once in there, paid $10 to park. There seemed to be ample parking. The park's large. They've got hiking trails, peddle boat (don't think they allowed kayaking though). I thought I saw one kids play area. Should have had more. The toilet stalls were small. You have to stand over the toilet to open the door. And they were poorly maintained. Otherwise, a decent place to spend time.

My stay here was absolutely AMAZING, I had no clue Upstate NYC could be so gorgeous and serene at the same time, there was something to do for everyone.. Even the younger children will have a great time here there was even a Zoo on the property.. I came on a trip here with my fellow classmates, but plan on returning in the future with family and friends highly recommend that you check this attraction out🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👌🏿..

We did the AllTrails version - 3.8 mile loop trail. The 1,154 ft elevation made a huge difference for us flat land Long Islanders. Took us about 4.5 hours to finish. Beautiful trails, a treat for photographers. Well maintained and clean. Appreciated the water vending machine at the Tower as by then we had finished all the water we started with.

Beautiful state park that is about 40 mins away from the hustle and bustle of NYC. A 25 min walk from the parking lot will take you to the beautiful bridge that offers great view. I’m definitely going back to see fall colors from this bridge. The drive to this state park is beautiful, they also have couple of restrooms, ice rink, a lake and a huge covered area with picnic tables. Definitely recommend

Access can be dictated by weather. I would say yes it will be open.

Yes in most of the places have good paved roads around the lake and infrastructure is good enough for strollers
Even when its closed you can still hike it but yes, its open with rules.
