Pros: The room was quite spacious and comfortable. The back porch has a nice view of the lake. Cons: 1. The electricity was super weird. Firstly, the AC had no control. It was super cold in the beginning. Then half of the electric appliances stopped working at night. It got pretty hot without the AC. Only one light was working. 2. There was no room service available. 3. The tap water is horrible there. Recommend filling up the bottles at the main Inn, which has a water filter. 4. The televisions has only local cable. You can't connect any streaming services in that.

This could be a nice place. Sadly it was full of inconsiderate chavs. TVs loud on all night. Kids screaming and running through corridors. Yeah if you're looking to chill out, don't go here.

The campus, while beautiful, does not make up for the cottages. The beds are only Fulls, not even Queens. The rest of the room is tiny and bland. The bathroom was so small the door didn't even open all the way. I was there for a wedding with the Bridal Party and it was nice for that but they're should have been a better discount to stay there with a group. Definitely not worth 250/night when the whole bridal party takes up the whole cabin. Also, if there's an extra room, strangers can stay there and that could cause issues

Loving that rustic environment. Still one of the best place to stay in the mountains. The rooms were clean the bathrooms were clean. The cottages had the smell of firewood which was a beautiful thing. Even though it rained for 2 days we enjoyed our visit very much. A short ride to the nearest town is an added convenience. This place is ideal if you want a quiet getaway.👍👍👍
