Hi! We were in town with family for a funeral. We booked through Expedia and although the ratings were good… the experience was not. Rooms were dirty with hair and dust all over. The AC was so loud we couldn’t sleep. The halls smelled like pungent fish one day and like marijuana the next. The fridge kept making a loud Clicking noise. We arrived after being stuck in the ATL airport and originally booked 3 nights. We checked in early and slept that day and first night. The next day I went down the way and got a room at another hotel, same price, way different! When I went to check out early, no one was up front. I saw some people out front smoking that could have been working… but at that point I just wanted to get out. It was an overall very dissatisfied experience.

Positive: Location Negative: Very unclean. Hairs in the bathroom sink. Floors had not been mopped. One of the trashcans still had trash in it. Loveseat was absolutely filthy. I wouldn't even let my dog on it. I was so disappointed. I didn't even stay the second night paid for.

Gross. Stopped off at 10pm - hotel next door was full. I should’ve been tipped off when the front desk guy said “yes, all the rooms are nonsmoking…sort of…people break the rules.” Our room stank of stale cigarette smoke. I woke up with a sore and very dry throat, body smelling. The layout of the room was nice - full sized refrigerator and kitchenette (but no implements), two beds, bathroom and closet. But that’s where it ended. The curtains were decorative only, so couldn’t be closed and light from the hotel next door streamed in. The floors were dirty (hairs, footprints, stickiness) the lamp didn’t have a lampshade, nothing lined up with everything crooked, holes in the walls, etc. I didn’t sleep. It was an expensive $129 meditation session.

Many. Since you were using Google Maps to ask this question, just touch "Nearby".and then select "Restaurants". That will show most to you. Want good pizza? Try Pizzaro. Want a classy, quiet bar with great food? Try The Tavern at Virginia Crossings.
