As a wedding and engagement photographer, I recommend taking photos at Butler Park about 30-45 minutes before sunset. If you can get a spot on the hill, you can luck into some gorgeous sunset shots. Pro tip: try for a weekday to avoid some of the crowds!

Honestly anytime of the day is great for picture taking so it really depends on how you want the background to look I think.. You can have that bright playful clear photo or that dim calming darker photo
