This park located in the heart of Austin, is a wonderful place to go for a walk, rest, have a picnic, take the little ones in the house to play on the swings or simply enjoy the views of the city. You can tell that it is very well cared for because it is always clean and the grass is green and uniform.

As a wedding and engagement photographer, I recommend taking photos at Butler Park about 30-45 minutes before sunset. If you can get a spot on the hill, you can luck into some gorgeous sunset shots. Pro tip: try for a weekday to avoid some of the crowds!
