Yes dogs are. Obviously they must be leashed and manageable around crowds, kids, strollers, runners, people on bikes and segways. It's a busy hustling place so not the best environment for a skittish or fearful/anxious dogs. Plus keep in mind now that the days are heating up, the pavement heats up too, and may be too hot for your dogs paw pads. Go early or late. Keep cool water on hand for your dog, they can get overheated just like us, but they don't sweat like us. They cool off by panting and will need access to fresh water.
