About 1 and a quarter for the big dog section and about a quarter of an acre for the small dogs.

Far more than 1.25 for the big dog portion. Estimate at least 3 acres for big dogs, maybe 1/2 acre for small dogs.

Thank you very much. I am from WV, but lived in Asheville for the past 7 years. Just relocated back to WV in Nov 17. While in Asheville visited Azalea almost every day I was there. A small group of us are trying to establish a dog park here. Fayetteville, WV.....very similar to Asheville, except in size. A couple of years ago Fayetteville was named the "Coolest Small Town" by Trip Advisor. Cool town with no dog park??????

Probably 1+ acres for large dogs,. 5 for small

If you have 2 acres, you can easily have a nice kid/dog park using half for each. Would make for a great environment for parents with dogs.
