Yes. You can park close to the tunnel but there is a small hill you have to walk up to get to the tunnel. Take a flashlight!
You can park between 100 and 200 yards from the tunnel. The hike is not strenuous, but it is uphill. Also, while you are there, make sure to visit the waterfall (Issaqueena Falls) it is an easy hike to the viewpoint with a huge payoff!
The tunnel is not worth seeing anymore. They closed most of it off. Used to be able to walk all the way to the end. The best part was after the gate, but they keep it locked now.
The walk to the tunnel wasn't bad , I think if you just take it easy it's a short walk. Bring a flash light!!
It is not far and it ia paved. It ia damp in the tunnel amd bring a flash light
and it is approx. 53° inside tunnel, so wear a sweater
